This summer as I was vacationing in Croatia I came across a store in Split, a beautiful coastal town in central Dalmatia, where I spotted a rather unusual skirt. The skirt is constructed from many different pieces of fabric, stitched together, dyed and embellished with silk screened details. It is double sided, rather opulent and it moves fabulously when I walk. It is a statement piece of clothing that will always be the star of the total outfit.
Inspired by the technique that the designer used on the skirt I made the decision to translate it into my line of work. To transform this simple dresser I used oil paintings, embroidery pieces, fabric, print on paper, a lot of glue, some varnish and touch of paint. The biggest challenge was to to arrange the pieces into a composition that will work together and offer an easy transition between the sections.
Here is the result. This dresser now offers a big presence and would look best in a larger room with simple furnishings. As a way to accessorize it a single large mirror framed in a simple frame would be more than enough.

The purpose of the section is to showcase elements from the online store in a curated environment and provide readers with direction and inspiration for their own homes. Three looks have been put together to set the wheels in motion and items for purchase have been listed in an easy to use drop down menu.

These art blocks and art cubes are a new product that I have been working on for the past few days. Art blocks are approximately 3.5" x 3.5" x 1.75" big and the cubes are 2.5" across.
Blocks are ready to be wall mounted but much as the cubes make adorable shelf or wall accessory. Each cube features six unique mini pieces of art and you can rotate the images to fit your mood and decor. As this is a new product I would appreciate any sort of feedback you can share. Good or bad as long as it is honest. It will be much appreciated. If you don't feel like leaving the comment on the wall, please feel free to drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.

You may have noticed that I was MIA for a while, and that is actually the case. I took a bit of a time off and headed over to Croatia to enjoy some tanning, swimming a spending time with my high school friends.
Before I left though I had completed this little piece, just didn't get the chance to photograph it and present it to you. I chose a bright coral colour because of its simple lines and I quite like the results.
It would work nicely in a bedroom as well as as the bathroom or any other space that may require a bit of extra storage. The small drawers has been lined with a blue floral paper and the cabinet below has a soft sea-foam interior that is in perfect contract with the brightness of the exterior.
It is currently listed in my Etsy store as well as as on the new Poppyseed Creative Living website.
Because of its size and more than affordable price point it is listed as local delivery only.
