This beautiful dresser painted in mustard yellow milk paint did not wait long to find it's way to a new home. The shape, the colour and the mix and match of old and new hardware made it a winning combination. Fun fact about milk paint is that once the piece is painted the paint itself does all the distressing. My input in achieving this aged look was minimal. I only removed the paint flakes that were forming by themselves in spots where paint did not "want" to adhere to the surface.
I have a few other milk paint projects on the go that I hope to be able to reveal early in the new year.
