Photo Shoot

Earlier this week I did a photo shoot with a very talented local photographer Brian Reiser, and here is what we came up with. I love it and hope you will too.

Before and After

This darling little table is from an antique market in Woodstock, ON. I was getting ready to leave when this sad little piece (bottom pic) caught my eye and I just couldn't leave it behind.

The Color Purple

Here is a shot of the latest piece that came out of my basement (a.k.a. studio). I have custom mixed the colour to end up with this dark hue of purple. Drawers have been lined with oriental inspired toile patterned wallpaper and new hardware added for an added punch. The piece is also listed in my Etsy store.

I found this wallpaper at Lowes the other day. It was heavily discounted ($2.00 for a roll) so I could not pass on it and decided to find a good use for it. So here it is dressing the drawer of one of my newest pieces. Full reveal will follow. Stay tuned.

Sweet Mr. Green

It has been a while since I completed the work on this little beauty and I can't understand how I forgot to blog about it.
My talented friend photographer Brian Reiser took this amazing shot that I want to share with you. The top two drawers are ceramic yellow roses and the rest are mirrorrd knobs. The hardware and the spindly, skinny legs make this piece look so delicate and precious.
This dresser is currently on display at Freedom Clothing Collective at 939 Bloor Street West in Toronto, so take a walk and check it out. You will also find a ton of other cool items at Freedom.

New drawer liner

I just happened to stop by Lowes this afternoon and stumble upon a bin with discounted wallpaper, so I got myself a few sassy rolls ($10 down from regular $36). There were two dressers that still needed their drawers lined so I immediately got to work and outfitted one of them with this purple floral gorgeousness.
One down, one to go. Will share the results as soon as the job is done.
