Coral Dresser

Even though it is built of solid wood and was super sturdy when I found it, the surface and finish on this dresser left a bit to be desired. I cleaned it up, sanded down and painted with milk paint in a beautiful shade of coral. Drawers are fairly deep with a ton of storage and the paper I used to line them has a print of coral branches, which I could totally fitting and appropriate. This piece will be up for grabs and available for purchase on Etsy.

Grey Dresser with Two-toned Knobs

What originally drew me to this dresser is the curved base detail as the rest is pretty "straight forward".
A little bit of paint and imagination went a long way with this piece. Original finish on this piece was yellowish varnish on wood - not good kind of yellow. I sanded it down, painted with some milk paint and decided to keep the original knobs but to give them a two toned treatment and a chance to pop against the neutral background. For more information please check my Etsy store.

Grey Sideboard

This sideboard is the sibling of the mustard yellow hutch I revealed last week. As mentioned, the colour choices for each piece could not be further apart, yet if placed in the same space they would work well together but at the same time "matchines" would not be an issue. You can find more info on this stunning piece if you follow the link to my Etsy shop.

Mustard Yellow Display Cabinet

I got this piece from a local seller and it came with a sideboard that I have already painted but didn't get the chance to style and reveal. I am hoping that I will get to it some time next week. Even though the lines of both pieces indicate that they are from the same set, they have been painted in different colours that would still work well and play off of each other if placed in the same space. This piece is currently listed in my Etsy store. Wishing you all a fab weekend.

Deep Blue Tall-boy Dresser

This tallboy has undergone a bit of a transformation that turned it from a boring fixture to a must have home accessory. Painted in soldier blue milk paint and outfitted with four new knobs on the top two drawers it is at the same time sophisticated and playful. Currently listed in my Etsy shop it will be a matter of days before it finds a new home.

Pumpkin Orange Dresser

Here is the first one of two dressers that I announced would be revealed by the end of the week. This one was painted in pumpkin coloured shade of milk paint and accessorized with contrasting turquoise drawer pulls. It is listed in my Etsy shop and available for purchase locally, but it can also be shipped anywhere in North America. I will keep the reveal of the second one for Monday. Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Mustard Yellow Tall Boy Dresser - Milk Paint Project

The moment I saw this dresser yellow was the colour that I envisioned for it. I tried to imagine it in green, white or blue instead but the yellow kept popping back and once the brush dipped in mustard yellow milk paint touched the wooden surface, its destiny was sealed. When I brought the dresser home I realized that some of the original pulls were missing so I had to substitute them with something I already had. The difference seems apparent but still subtle enough.
The dresser is now listed in my Etsy shop and in the next few days it will be jointed by two new ones that I am very excited to show you.
